| I have Aetna (and used it all through my pragnency) but have never heard of maternity insurance your prenatal care is all covered under your regular insurance. If you have an HMO, the only difference is that you will have to get your primary doctor to confirm the pragnency and then refer you to an OB. Everything else stays the same. The only other thing is when you go on maternity leave at the end of your pragnency. In that case, it will likely be a different company handling that. My short term disability was with Unum. You'll need to work with your HR department in getting these benefits. |

A lot of us treat insurance like the weather; QuotesChimp gripe and complain but don't do anything about it. Luckily, insurance is not like the weather.
